Gmail integration

Gmail lets Dainvo work with supported Gmail message labels for email-derived tasks.

What syncs

Dainvo uses Gmail access for supported message label changes, such as clearing a flag or importance marker when you confirm that action in Dainvo.

Dainvo does not turn Gmail into a full email client.

Install

1. Open Settings > Accounts.
2. Choose Add Gmail.
3. Sign in with the Google account that owns the mailbox.
4. Approve the Gmail permission.
5. Return to Dainvo.

If Google is already connected for Calendar or Tasks, choose Add Gmail to enable Gmail on that same account.

Remove

1. Open Settings > Accounts.
2. Disable Gmail on the Google account, or remove the whole Google connection.
3. Revoke Dainvo from Google Account third-party connections if you want provider-side access removed.

Removing Gmail from Dainvo does not delete email messages.

Troubleshooting

• Clear flag action fails: reconnect Google and approve Gmail access.
• Work account blocked: ask your Google Workspace administrator whether Gmail API access is allowed.
• Unexpected mailbox changes: Dainvo asks for confirmation before clearing provider-side email flags.
