Microsoft Teams integration
Microsoft Teams lets Dainvo add Teams meeting details to supported Outlook calendar events.
Requirements
Teams in Dainvo requires a connected Microsoft account with Outlook Calendar enabled. Dainvo creates the Teams meeting through the Outlook calendar event flow.
Your Microsoft organization must allow Teams as an online meeting provider for the calendar.
Install
- Open Settings > Accounts.
- Choose Add Microsoft Teams.
- Sign in with the Microsoft account you use for Outlook Calendar.
- Approve the requested permissions.
- Create or edit an Outlook calendar event and choose Microsoft Teams as the meeting provider.
Remove
- Open Settings > Accounts.
- Disable Microsoft Teams on the Microsoft account, or remove the whole Microsoft connection.
- For work or school accounts, revoke app permissions in the Microsoft My Apps portal if needed.
Removing the integration does not delete past Teams links from existing events.
Troubleshooting
- Teams option missing: connect Outlook Calendar first.
- Calendar does not support Teams: check with your Microsoft 365 administrator.
- Admin approval required: ask your administrator to approve the app permissions.
- Event saves without a meeting link: reconnect Microsoft and approve the requested access.
