Outlook Email integration
Outlook Email lets Dainvo work with supported Outlook message follow-up flags for email-derived tasks.
What syncs
Dainvo uses Outlook mail access for supported message changes, such as clearing an email follow-up flag when you confirm that action in Dainvo.
Dainvo does not turn Outlook into a full email client.
Install
- Open Settings > Accounts.
- Choose Add Outlook Email.
- Sign in with the Microsoft account that owns the mailbox.
- Approve mail access.
- Return to Dainvo.
If Microsoft is already connected for Outlook Calendar or Microsoft To Do, choose Add Outlook Email to enable email on the same account.
Remove
- Open Settings > Accounts.
- Disable Outlook Email on the Microsoft account, or remove the whole Microsoft connection.
- For work or school accounts, revoke app permissions in the Microsoft My Apps portal if needed.
Removing Outlook Email from Dainvo does not delete email messages.
Troubleshooting
- Clear flag action fails: reconnect Microsoft and approve Mail access.
- Admin approval required: ask your Microsoft 365 administrator to approve the delegated mail permissions.
- Unexpected mailbox changes: Dainvo asks for confirmation before clearing provider-side email flags.
