Outlook Email integration

Outlook Email lets Dainvo work with supported Outlook message follow-up flags for email-derived tasks.

What syncs

Dainvo uses Outlook mail access for supported message changes, such as clearing an email follow-up flag when you confirm that action in Dainvo.

Dainvo does not turn Outlook into a full email client.

Install

  1. Open Settings > Accounts.
  2. Choose Add Outlook Email.
  3. Sign in with the Microsoft account that owns the mailbox.
  4. Approve mail access.
  5. Return to Dainvo.

If Microsoft is already connected for Outlook Calendar or Microsoft To Do, choose Add Outlook Email to enable email on the same account.

Remove

  1. Open Settings > Accounts.
  2. Disable Outlook Email on the Microsoft account, or remove the whole Microsoft connection.
  3. For work or school accounts, revoke app permissions in the Microsoft My Apps portal if needed.

Removing Outlook Email from Dainvo does not delete email messages.

Troubleshooting

  • Clear flag action fails: reconnect Microsoft and approve Mail access.
  • Admin approval required: ask your Microsoft 365 administrator to approve the delegated mail permissions.
  • Unexpected mailbox changes: Dainvo asks for confirmation before clearing provider-side email flags.
