Troubleshooting common Dainvo issues

This guide covers common issues during the alpha period.

A popup is open and I want to create something else

Click another calendar area or another calendar item. Dainvo should close the current popup and open the new one for the place you clicked.

If the right details panel is open, existing events, task blocks, and buckets should show in the panel instead of opening quick popups.

A task or bucket is hidden

Check Settings > Task Defaults. Local tasks and synced tasks can be hidden from lists and calendar surfaces. Turning visibility back on does not recreate anything; it only shows existing tasks again.

Also check calendar visibility in the calendar sidebar. A bucket assigned to a visible calendar follows that calendar visibility. Buckets without a synced calendar remain Dainvo bucket items.

A connected account is not updating

Try Sync now first. If that does not help, use Reconnect for that account in Settings > Accounts.

Disconnected or read-only calendars can still appear, but editing may be blocked.

A provider says permissions are missing

Use Reconnect and approve the requested permissions. Google Calendar, Google Tasks, Gmail, Microsoft Calendar, Microsoft To Do, Outlook Email, Zoom, and Webex each require provider permissions for the specific data Dainvo syncs.

If a work or school Microsoft account says admin approval is required, ask your Microsoft 365 administrator to allow the Dainvo app permissions.

Apple Calendar will not connect

Apple Calendar uses your Apple Account email and an app-specific password. Use the password generated at account.apple.com, not your normal Apple Account password.

CalDAV will not connect

Check the server URL, username, and provider-specific app password. Dainvo requires an http or https CalDAV server URL.

A meeting provider is unavailable

Zoom, Webex, Google Meet, and Microsoft Teams depend on provider account permissions. Google Meet requires a Google Calendar connection. Microsoft Teams requires a Microsoft account with Outlook Calendar enabled.

Part of the app is still in English

Check Settings > General > App language. If it is set to System default, Dainvo follows the language reported by your operating system. If the system language is not supported yet, Dainvo uses English.

Dainvo does not translate your event titles, task titles, bucket names, account names, provider names, external sign-in pages, or help-center article language. If an app-owned button, label, dialog, notification, or error still appears in English after you select another supported language, use the feedback button and include the selected language and screen name.

A bucket has the wrong calendar

Edit the bucket and choose the correct calendar. Dainvo treats the bucket as the source of truth. If the bucket has a calendar copy, Dainvo replaces that copy when the calendar changes.

Send feedback

Use the feedback button in the app to report issues or request improvements.
